  1. I'm not surprised.
  2. Give it time. It isn't like a marriage happened without trial and error, and lots of relationships not working at all.
  3. There seems to be no kudos button right now, so
  4. I have fistfought this cat on numerous occasions and was declared victor every time. Show it a picture of me and it'll clean its catbox all by itself.
  5. A look at their pure charisma:
  6. The Japanese are responsible for Honda Civics and Godzilla, so given the precedents, you'll have to be more specific in your choice.
  7. But the cars are killers. That's a huge asshole move too.
  8. As somebody who spent a lot of time being dragged to car shows, I can't qualify this assertion.
  9. You're asking somebody else to explain your taste in humor?
  10. Is there a difference between leaving in a ceremonial soap box derby car pyre and not leaving at all?
  11. But nobody is allowed to leave the car show. At least, that's what's written in my anthropology textbook, as a quote from Margaret Mead's Coming of Age in Samoa
  12. Which poses the greater danger to ever-increasing pedestrian congestion?
  13. Depth. But it's subjective.
  14. If flair or charm can be killed, I doubt the veracity of said flair or charm.
  15. Implying I haven't already four and a half times today.
  16. The Judas chair is my kink.
  17. Except me, but it helps that Monday is a day off from work, and all I have scheduled is sitting in on a 12:10 PM class on crime and espionage fiction.
  18. Are those things for before the interview, or after?
  19. I'm much more into certain suspense/thrillers that satisfy the development of action, but intentionally leave something out that makes the experience feel very unnerving, such as: Cache Kill List Picnic at Hanging Rock The Shining ends up getting to me for a similar reason--how the fragments of the hotel's history affects the primary narrative, which bestows its own sordid history of abuse and alcoholism on the scene. Other horror films (not all of which are actually horror) that I love for investing in atmosphere and tension building: The Invitation They Look Like People Don't Look Now The Vanishing The Others The Orphanage Safe Wait Until Dark
  20. This sounds like an even weirder, campier revamp of "Solaris" and I am all for it.
  21. This is one of the games strongly convincing me to invest in VR, but either way, I'm very excited for it.
  22. If you do space science, it's difficult to imagine its application beyond research-related fields (though I'm no expert, and as somebody who can defend an English degree, there are people who can talk up the qualities of that degree I'm sure). However, speaking as the person who edits a ton of science grants, it would be badass as fuck to get your masters/Ph.D in a space science. Ironically enough, however, I don't imagine mortuary science being a dead practice, or one with little demand. (Again, I have no basis for that claim, other than the fact that everybody dies.)
  23. To be honest I'm just here to let my user pic contribute halfheartedly. (My only stipulation for taco is soft shell)
  24. Glad you've managed to keep yourself afloat with it! <3
