I haven't really engaged with the toxic side of Reddit. Most of what I look at are very specific interests. Like, instead of going to a video game subreddit, I'll go to the subreddit for whatever game I'm wanting to see thoughts on. Groups focused on a specific common interest just seem more hospitable, especially when I don't really watch or play things based off popularity and I'm pretty sure most people do - hence the existence of a "mainstream". I dunno. I've heard all kinds of horror stories, but I spend most of my time there looking at memes of obscure weeb shit.

I don't really post there. Just some subreddits seem pretty chill there. Some.

Eh, Reddit has a fair share of issues but you can type more than 280 characters. Which makes it better than Twitter by default.
