  1. Wouldn't it make more sense to adapt a story from the real Oregon Trail as opposed to a story about someone who left town and died immediately of dysentery?
  2. Wouldn't star trek ghostbusters just be ghostrek?
  3. Watch your language, j*rk.
  4. ....... You lost me on the 3rd paragraph and I never figured out what was happening from there.
  5. Butt bees are the bees knees.
  6. Hasn't telling Jman he's beating a dead horse been beating a dead horse for quite some time?
  7. You're just jealous since you don't have enough cooks.
  8. Eh, ghost's way hotter.
  9. You should play Xenoblade.
  10. I need more people to talk Xenoblade with me. 😟
  11. I see. I no longer see because that's needlessly confusing. We're starting post-Suicide Squad, but it was a different one? Or the same one but in a reboot for some reason?
  12. So, it's literally just MORE Suicide Squad but called something else?
  13. Cosmic horror usually is. Not going to gush about Uzumaki or anything, I liked and disliked quite a bit of the manga to the point of leaning negative. Pointlessness is a part of the horror in this genre, though. It's supposed to be fear of the unknown and inexplicable. A surreal, unexplained thing happens and either it resolves itself or it's some kind of eternal struggle. Broadly, you can't really fight the stuff cosmic horror usually does. Uzumaki had a fair share of good chapters, and also a bunch were really dumb.
  14. VLR is usually more absurd than stupid. Zero Time Dilemma, though..... that one might be stupid. I can't tell if Nirvana Initiative is better or worse than the first. I like the first more but NI might be as good or better. NI is tripping me out [recently] for irl reasons.
  15. Just have to say, lately I've been coming across tons of weird little cosmic coincidences. Most involve names, dates, or media. I bring it up here because a significant part of that is the Xenoblade series. One of the writer's on this was named Tetsuya Takahashi. Complete coincidence, that's also the name of Xenoblade's creator (completely different person). These both are heavily focused on multiverses. Rick and Morty has been a running joke in my friend group. My best friend and I have been on the haterade since season 2 and Pickle Rick is so unbelievably dumb, that it's looped around to its own idiotic meme status. My soulmate (probably), who is the center of this cosmic shit, is in a video of a poetry reading I saw nearly 10 years ago. I've never brought up the video, but her performance in it was one of the most important things toward me eventually having way more than a crush on her. At one point, she gets excited to tell an audience member, as she put it, "the joke about the pickle." The video doesn't have her tell the joke. I need to know the joke about the pickle. If the joke involves turning himself into a pickle, I'm actually going to lose my fucking mind.
