I think after I do my pros and cons with my wife, ill have a ton of questions for them.

Yeah, the titles are SVP and above, but those don't really mean shit anymore and I couldn't care less about the title. The resume piece, would be good... as it would be a lot of my own abilities and initiatives that would be measurable upon success. Its a contract too, so I kind of step in to that new realm of contract/consulting work... which is $$$

I know what they are trying to do, very well. But I need to understand the resources and their experience with US regulatory standards and agencies... because that will sink all ambitions.

Yeah, at my level, I don't really use it much but can coach and facilitate those that would be using the skill sets. The first year would be pretty much all grinding staff to align with the initiatives of the company, as I learn them as well. After that, it would be all risk performance objectives, and regulatory meetings.

I have been doing a lot of research on them. They are primarily a South American Organizatuon but are looking to capitalize with everything going on to remote banking exclusively. With my experiences in six sigma, and PM, as well as the segregating of lending services with my previous bank, I think I'd be good at it. They are ambitious, which motivates me but concerns me as well. Ambition can push organizations to do the wrong thing.

I like the seasons, and I hate old people. As a knee jerk thought, that's where I'm at right now.

Yeah, I got all that. They are paying for a house and everything, in Ft Lauderdale.... which isn't cheap. They want a 3 year contract, and a non compete (which I think is stupid because its not a sales position). They would pay for any family services for 2 years, if needed. No car, but I'm cool with that, but all cell phone, internet, and equipment costs covered through their vendor, Lenovo. They would help with placement for my wife too.

Over the weekend, I got a message from a recruiter about heading up a Operations division for a completely online bank. Since I got time, I told them to hit me up today to talk about what they are thinking.... and besides the crazy money they are throwing around (total compensation, and when they say that I see all kinds of asterisks after...), it would also require a full relocation package to Ft Lauderdale. It isn't ever all about the money... but.... idk... The team is about the same size I have now, in total... but its consolidated to just one direct team of reports... which means, one level of management from me to them... i have done this many times before but it does require a lot more hands on work, and typically frustrations dealing with personalities... tho, better than dealing with teams of type A managers. And then again... its fucking Florida. Anyways... thats my Monday so far. Breaking out the ol pros and cons exercises and having some discussions with the S.O.
