  1. I saw it once in about 2001. There's a goth girl in it and a scene in a convenience store. That's all I remember.
  2. Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2?
  3. At least I consider it the reboot of the movies. I've been looking forward to this for a long time. The Jaime Reyes Blue Beetle is one of my favorite superheroes.
  4. No worries. I wasn't being critical. I just couldn't pass up the opportunity for humor.
  5. Like how there are zero Democrats who are concerned about whether Hunter Biden gets indicted or not. But right-wingers seem to think it'll be some huge blow.
  6. I was excited to read the seven new posts about DnD that I got notifications for.
  7. At one point during their coverage, a Fox News host asked something like, "will this be the restart of Trump's campaign?" He was referring very specifically to Trump making a statement in the hallway while walking to the courtroom. That's what he described in the sentence right before the question. I lol'd.
  8. The falsifying records has to be in furtherance of a second crime in order to be felonies, instead of just misdemeanors. Here's Bragg saying what those second crimes are:
  9. I may have to take a sick day and sit on the beach at sunset now.
  10. I wasn't prepared for the "Trump at the defense table" photo.
  11. Do I care that Fox News employees are all absurd liars (see the defamation lawsuit that Dominion Voting Systems has against them and is pending)? I enjoy it more know that.
  12. I've got Fox News Channel on for the LOL. I'm loving it. Alvin Bragg is a monster who is persecuting innocent babe Donald Trump.
  13. My understanding is, in order for falsifying records to be a felony in New York, it has to be in furtherance of another crime. If it's not done in furtherance of a second crime, it's just a misdemeanor. This by itself has nothing to do with election law. It's just lying on records and the second crime can be anything. It's been used, for example, to prosecute someone who has who has lied on forms to get safety net benefits. Further, the second crime that is needed to make it a felony can be a state or federal crime. It's been successfully prosecuted with both.
  14. We will know exactly what the charges are later today, but it's probably state felony charges falsifying business records, not an FEC administrative case.
  15. Basically, you can't advance your cause if you're serving a prison sentence for treason. So, attacking the U.S. Capitol with violence is not in the cards no matter how angry you are. Re: "These losers don't know how to protest."
  16. When I first saw the Jan. 6th riot, my first thought was "These losers don't know how the protest right". I bet a lot of regular activists thought the same thing.
  17. I would go. When I lived in DC, one of my favorite things was gawking at protesters. I wouldn't let myself be scared of Jan. 6ers, and this is not that. Gawking at protesters in Manhattan sounds kind of fun actually.
  18. The most colorful description of the Russian Federation I ever heard: They are a big gas station owned by the Mafia. In other words, it's a cartel that pretends to be a nation. Despite Putin's words, Russian politicians are NOT statesmen who want global domination. They're just a bunch of criminals interested in their wealth and existence. That's means for 30 years, we treated them like a legit nation we could have relations with. And it was our hope Russia was someone we could be friends, or at least indifferent neighbors, with.
