I regret that I didn't come here for the 2020 election thread.

I didn't care one bit what happened in the 2020 Democratic primaries at the time, but damn, you guys cared. Like very, very passionately. -
My favorite take on these things said something like, "I can't wait to be the first one found dead in one of these things".

Someone with that much money shouldn't be such a twerp online. If I was a billionaire or even just a lowly multimillionaire, you think I'd be here right now? -
This one is pretty dad joke.

I'm proud of my main dice. They're simple brown with white numbers. I had them made because I couldn't find that specific color scheme. A weird thing to be proud of I know. That's not lost on me.

If they started frequenting a comic shop, someone will inevitably ask them if they want to join. That's how it happened for me. Please it would encourage reading, always a good thing.

I started with the fifth edition, but the last year my friends have been using the 3.5 edition because we wanted to focus on our character development to a even greater extent.

...over the years since the asmb disappeared. I had no idea how addictive it is. Somebody asked me one day if I wanted to join and I said "sure, I guess". Things I found out: 1. I would be a terrible wizard or magic user. Most of the time, I get myself killed and occasionally some other people in my group. 2. I would be a so-so paladin or fighter. I can accomplish tasks and missions okay, but I always feel something is missing. Like, it being a chore more than fun. 3. I find that fulfillment in being a rogue. I'm really good at sneaking around, stealing, lying, checking for traps, etc. I didn't know I had it in me. But seriously, don't ask me to use magic. It will end...poorly. Anyway, I do that now usually once a week.

Hey. I remember you.

I signed up for the ASMB because I wanted Venture Bros. to get a second season. -

That was December 2017. I was pretty cynical about elections and politics at that time. I thought, "of course they are going to vote for the pedophile. They are Americans and they vote, don't they?" But when they voted for the civil rights lawyer instead (Doug Jones), it was a spark that lead me to focus on volunteering for the 2018 election in Georgia. Which was when Stacy Abrams revitalized the state Dem Party. I moved back to Georgia and decided to stay. -

That Alabama Senate election where Roy Moore was revealed to be a major pedo? -
Also, just accepting as true anything said in a Trump press release.

I just now came across a thread from 2017 where you said you tried to get me on these boards. I seem to remember that at the time, but I had stuff in real life going on. Thanks for thinking about me at the time though. I appreciate it. -

Me debunking a couple of defenses of Trump (from the same people who thought the grand jury wasn't going to indict because some anonymous source said they were going on vacation for a month): I can guarantee a D.A. quadruple checked whether the charges he was bringing were within the statute of limitations and that some of the charges meet the standard of felony. "They are really misdemeanors, and they are out of the statute of limitations." Lol, no.

Speaking of Trump's lawyer, his name is Joe Tacopina and he admitted that Trump committed a crime by paying Stormy hush money. He admitted on national television. If the unbiased jury feels the same way as Trump's defense attorney, they will convict Trump. SNEj9kDDV6GB8ccQ.mp4

I hear the following claim being made by Trump defenders. It's silly. The federal Justice Department did not pursue this case because they did not pursue ANY criminal case against Trump while he was in office. It's the stated position of DoJ a sitting president can't be indicted. The idea that that arbitrary policy says something about the merits of a case now being brought against Trump is ludicrous.
