Chappell Roan has really exploded in popularity. I'm so happy I got to be a hipster about her.

In the past week, there has been an unusually high number of threats in schools in my area. An interesting point has been brought up: foreign adversaries could start making fake threats to create paranoia in the American public. They have seen that nothing but lip service gets done in response to gun violence.

I really wish there was more of an effort to learn foreign languages in the Anglosphere. There are way too many native speakers who think English is the default way of speaking, when English has been influenced by so many languages itself.

I have a more lighthearted thing to share. Last year, I watched Fritz the Cat, and the one character meant to parody a white liberal female college student said "why does James Earl Jones always have to play black characters?" Well, he ended up becoming Darth Vader a few years after this film.
