Well I don't look at it as can they beat the Warriors so much as can they tighten up the competition, these playoffs last year were dreadful and not because the Warriors always win but there were so many games that weren't even close, when you look back to the 90s sure the Bulls were dominating but so many tough teams with close games and buzzer beaters in the playoffs, this past season had zero of that kind of excitement. I agree that they can't play iso but the Knicks had to iso with Melo, if Melo didn't score a lot they really never had many other options, I can't say I've seen Melo play with anyone on his level before, let alone two guys that are more in their prime and arguably more effective. I mean, he had Stoudemire but injuries plagued Amare's time with the Knicks, he had Iverson and Billups but both were well past their prime, but both those guards still managed to get a good amount of attempts with Melo....definitely not saying these guys aren't on Carmelo's level but they weren't at the time.

Well last season Westbrook needed to be a ball hog for them to win, still averaged double figures in assists tho. Thunder are stacked now, could see them winning at least 50 games but we never really know until we see how the chemistry works, could be a rocky start to the season but I have to imagine they will work it out.

It's pretty bad this year, Ward's win so questionable....Pacquiao robbery was one of the worst I've ever seen. Boxing needs to realize all this shit is out in the open these days, but you're right they don't care as long as they make money. But let's face it, it could've been worse, he could have lost....and on Mexican Independence Day is Vegas I was half expecting this. I'm just going to take it at face value, it was a very very entertaining fight, one of the best in recent memory and its a shame its going to be remembered for some corrupt shitty judge that may have well wrote her score card before the fighters entered the ring.

Yeah that's an outrageous score but the other two judges scored it fairly I think. I still thought GGG won but Canelo did some nice things, he was never really hurt by GGG because he was turning his head at the last moment with his right cross, can't teach that.

Best fight I've seen since the first Ward v Kovalev....thought GGG won by two rounds but at least we'll be getting another.

You seem to have this opinion that the physically stronger fighter or more natural puncher will always win, but we saw that didn't happen with Ward vs Kovalev. I think this one could go either way, both fighters excel in different ways. Footwork the edge goes to Golovkin but upper body movement and punching from angles goes to Canelo. Punching power and straights go to Golvkin, but body work and faster hands goes to Canelo..... Think this one'e gonna be a long night for both guys...could see a KO but probably not an early one.
