    Ahh, okay. That was so long ago, I just totally forgot about that. All the Kilua comparisons that were being made earlier I think got me thinking that his family might have taught him, but I forgot that he was pretty young when Zeff took him in. Also, kinda forgot Zeff was more than just a chef honestly. Thanks for reminding me about all that.

    Sanji being from a family of assassins does explain how he got to be such a good fighter, especially for someone without any devil fruit powers.

    So we did find out who pushed him. But, why did he try and kill Takemichi though? Doesn't really make sense to me when he had not been involved with any of them for so long that they'd suddenly go after him. Just serves no purpose really.

    Suspended animation? That's awfully convenient. So his body doesn't need to eat or drink or go to the bathroom no matter how long he's in the past? Or is it more like a coma that he goes into? If it's more like that then the amount of time he could spend in the past without coming back would be much more limited.

    Welp, there goes CNN. I stopped watching them a while ago, but I know people for whom it's still their primary news source. Funny thing is, I own a small amount of WBD stock, and just got in the mail a notice to vote about approving the Netflix deal. I was going to do it tomorrow, but guess now i don't need to bother. Anyway, there was no real good way for this to ever go I guess. Just more of a choice of what was the lesser of two evils. Sadly, I think the greater evil prevailed.

    So Sanji's got a secret dark past. Heh, he's like a character straight out of a telenovela. Makes sense given his dream of finding the All Blue that he would want to leave that kind of life behind though. Looking forward to learning more about it all.

    Wow. These guys actually have a sense of honor. Seemed like they weren't really so bad. Makes me think it's the other big leader that Sano's supposed to meet later who's gonna be the real bad dude that'll change things.

    Seriously though. How is Takemichi not just one big bloody sore at this point. Must have a little bit of Wolverine's healing factor or something. Don't see how he's survived all the poundings he's taken so far otherwise.

    I watched MLS when it was new, for a couple of years, but never been that big a fan of it honestly.

    Kinda ironic I suppose given my handle, but nope. Don't have Netflix. If I ever decide to get it though, I'll definitely check that out. Sounds good. Anyway, didn't mean to imply that there aren't any good ones out there that take the concept more seriously.

    True. The best time travel shows are generally the ones that don't take themselves too seriously. Classic example is Legends of Tomorrow. First season they spent a lot of time trying to explain how it worked and the ruminating over the consequences of making certain decisions, and it was kind of meh. Then they retooled the show and kind of stopped giving a damn about making things make sense, and it just turned it into a wild ride that reveled in the fun of being able to go to all sorts of different times and places. Made the show just infinitely better and without a doubt saved it from being cancelled early on.

    Kinda, although I think it's more they're acknowledging they'll be outnumbered than outclassed. Can't just rush in against such a powerful enemy who also has such a large force under her command.
