He needs a lullaby. Sing to him Robin. Yeah right. Don't remember much singing in One Piece other than by Brook.

U.S. officials went door-to-door in Greenland to find anyone who wanted to be visited by the Vances. They found no one. Oh I don't know. I''m sure this guy would love to meet them.

What Youtube video are you watching?
Dark_Cloud_Overhead replied to blueraven1999's topic in Movies & Television
Never honestly even heard of this before, but this got me intrigued so found a video that kind of summarizes in a hilarious way the first movie. It's massively spoilerish, but after watching it I'm totally sold on seeing this now. -
They must be getting pretty nervous about some of these upcoming special elections to fill vacant house seats that were previously thought to be runaway slam dunks for them. Ought to be an interesting April Fool's election day. With how insane the news has been lately, gonna be next to impossible to tell what people are joking about from reality when it comes to politics.

Democrats flip deep-red Pennsylvania district in special election shocker Appeals court won’t lift Boasberg’s order blocking Alien Enemies Act So much winning.

Waltz’s future in doubt following accidental war plan leak “Half of them saying he’s never going to survive or shouldn’t survive,” said the official, who like others was granted anonymity to discuss internal deliberation. And two high-level White House aides have floated the idea that Waltz should resign in order to prevent the president from being put in a “bad position.” “It was reckless not to check who was on the thread. It was reckless to be having that conversation on Signal. You can’t have recklessness as the national security adviser,” the official said. A person close to the White House was even more blunt: “Everyone in the White House can agree on one thing: Mike Waltz is a fucking idiot.” LOL Seems like the vultures are circling a bit. Waltz is being defiant though still, going around attacking Goldberg on TV, following Vance's lead it looks like, suggesting that "somehow this guy" got on somebody's contact and got "sucked into this group." Uh huh. Yeah sure. Doesn't sound like he's taking any kind of real responsibility to me. What's that old saying: the coverup is often worse than the crime.

Ahhh, okay I think I understand now. I was puzzled by the including him on purpose part, but I see what she meant. That someone else on the call wanted to leak what was taking place and added the reporter to do it. Thing is we know exactly who it was that added him. Mike Waltz. So I mean, really hard to believe he'd do that cuz if anybody's gonna take the heat for this it's him. Pretty ineffective way of letting someone else be the whipping boy. Guess nothing's that unbelievable at this point though.

I really doubt that he was in any way in on this if that's what you're saying. I'm not really sure what you're suggesting exactly. I'm a little confused by what you're trying to say there honestly. I will say I've wondered if they're claiming none of this was classified why he doesn't just release those parts then and prove them wrong, but I think it's partially his journalistic integrity of not wanting to do what he already said he wouldn't go doing. Also, regardless of what they claim it could still hurt national security and he could probably still get in legal trouble if he were to divulge stuff like that. Another thing is that there was a CIA operative's name supposedly shared on the chat. Releasing something like that would definitely impact that person's safety and career, so I get why he's choosing to sit on some stuff.

Seems everyone in the administration is predictably claiming this was perfectly "lawful" and that the chat "did not include classified information". Typical deny, deny, deny strategy. Trump's saying that an "oopsie" was made and that a lesson was actually learned somewhere in all this is so far the only significant admission on anyone's part I've seen that anything at all wrong happened here. Truly... pathetic. As usual, seems he's the only one stepping out of tune with the rest of the "it was a perfect call" choir. On a more serious note, thing that should really worry everyone about this is the fact that they're not even acknowledging there was a problem with any of this means we have every reason to believe they're just gonna keep on doing it, just without including any reporters in the chats -- probably -- in the future. Heaven forbid we ever actually do go to war with China, cuz chances are they'll probably know every move we're about to make before we make it. I was thinking about adding or Russia to that, but who are we kidding thinking that could ever happen with Agent Krasnov running the show.

how holden caulfield are you?
Dark_Cloud_Overhead replied to discolé monade's topic in General Discussion
50% Personally I'd say I'm nothing like him, but the idea of his that adults often become really phony as they conform to society and end up losing sight of the things that really matter was the one part of the book that really stuck with me I'd say. -
The Trump Administration Accidentally Texted Me Its War Plans Top 4 takeaways from Trump Cabinet's explosive leak of Yemen war plans The incompetence it just never ends. Funny to see Vance spoke out against going through with the operation, but only because of he felt it would be helping out Europe, which he loathes apparently.

I'll say. Holy crap, if you hadn't said something I totally would have thought that was real. Person who made that must be a frickin' genius. -
That wasn't looking good there for a second. Nice quick-thinking, Robin. Gonna have to find a way to put Hakuba to sleep fast though cuz they still got Gladius to deal with.

Oh Bellamy. A douchebag with dignity is still a douchebag. If you know you made a mistake in siding with flamingo face, why not just stop and let Luffy kick his ass already? Seriously.

On The Apprentice, Donald Trump Showed Us Who He Was. If Only We Had Listened. I have to admit I watched it back in the day. Of course I really didn't know much of anything about him back then. The opening theme song though I hold still really tells you all really need to know about the guy: "Money, money, money monnney. Money!" Just look at some of the verses to the song if you don't believe me. For the love of money People will steal from their mother For the love of money People will rob their own brother For the love of money People will lie, Lord, they will cheat For the love of money People don't care who they hurt or beat For the love of money A woman will sell her precious body For a small piece of paper it carries a lot of weight Call it lean, mean, mean green I know money is the root of all evil Do funny things to some people Give me a nickel, brother can you spare a dime Money can drive some people out of their minds Ripping people off... check. Lying... LOL super check. Talking about and treating women as little more than property... oh yeah, check. Going loco in la cabeza... si, absolutamente. Any wonder they chose this song to start every episode?

Werewolves 1/10 Ever wonder why werewolves are supposed to transform because of the light of the full moon, but don't during the day even though moonlight is just reflected sunlight? Yeah, well apparently the people who made this movie never did. This is a perfect example of why you don't try to bring science into realm of mythology. Even putting all the logical black holes this film had aside, it's still just colossally bad in pretty much every which way. Characters were boring, script was awful, and even the special effects and costuming looked cheaply done. I mean, when a movie that's supposed to make you scream makes you just wanna laugh instead, you know it's pretty bad.

Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick says his mother-in-law wouldn't complain if her Social Security check didn't arrive this month Yeah, kind of easy for her not to care so much considering she's got a son who's a billionaire. Part that really got me though was when he added, "A fraudster always makes the loudest noise, screaming, yelling, and complaining." I couldn't agree more.

Needs to be litigated to prove they actually broke the law in firing them. They're claiming it's for cause of poor performance. It's obvious BS, but that's the still how it is sadly. When it's people in power breaking the law, the injustice system is always gonna be playing catch up. That's why it's so important not to put people in the highest positions of power who have ill intent to abuse that power in the first place. Too many people seemed to have missed the lesson unfortunately, and now we're here.
