It may not fit the block well, but I'd say it's the perfect show for our times right now. I'm really looking forward to its return, and plan on participating (or at least following, since I won't be able to say much having seen it already) in the discussion threads for it. I'm very interested to see what people who are watching it for the first time have to say about it.

Excel Saga 1 - 4 So... that fried my brain a little. I wonder how many times Excel's VAs (both the English and Japanese, but especially the English one -- OMG her voice is like nails on a chalkboard screeching sometimes) lost their voices throughout recording for this. I'd wager easily at least half a dozen for each of them.

Wagnaria's actually about the only one out of all of these series that I've seen a good portion of already. I watched the first season a while back and loved it, which is how come I decided to include it even though I haven't had it sitting around nearly as long as most of these other shows . Thems the breaks though. Ah well. I'll get to the rest of it eventually. Canaan 10 - 13 Well that show seemed all kinds of pointless. Guess I shouldn't have expected much. The basic premise of characters having blended senses seemed kind of silly from the get go. I mean what if you're out for a walk and see a pile of doggy doo? Does mean mean you'll taste...? I mean ew. Sounds more like a super curse than a super power to me. Also, anytime you sensed another person, wouldn't that take you one step away from being a cannibal? LOL I know I think too much about this stuff.

Or maybe he just thought they were and didn't know them that well before. I think when people are younger they tend to act more superficial and hide a lot of their deeper thoughts about things because they're worried it might cause people to look at them differently and seem uncool. As people get older and get more confident about their place in the world then, they cease to care so much about what other people think about them, and are then more free to let their true thoughts show. That's how I see it anyway.
