    Castle Rock Season 1 was kind of slow developing, but I liked the dichotomy of the science vs the supernatural it had going on and thought it was a pretty interesting idea they had to explain all the weird stuff that was happening. Unfortunately, season 2 just shat all over that. Felt really unnecessary, too, cuz they could have easily just made it a completely separate story and not tried to tie the two together at all... but they did, and it made no sense, as they just seemed to totally abandon the stuff that season one had established and made it into a total supernatural thing.

It really is starting to have the feel of a secret police force. Really worried about the situation they're instigating in L.A. There's now reports they're considering deploying 500 marines onto the streets. Looks all designed to get them to where they can enact the insurrection act so they can test out using the military against people here at home. It's always about pushing the line of what they can get away with just a little bit further. Sigh.

    If there were any justice, she'd be disbarred but it probably won't happen. Not sure what it would mean to have an attorney general who no longer had a law license. Guess it wouldn't stop her from doing her job, just from representing the government directly in court from what I'm seeing. Still it would be a humiliation for her. Or rather another humiliation, since she already humiliated herself saying Trump saved the lives of over half the people in the country because of lower than usual amount of fentanyl they've been seizing. She should be sued for slander too for making accusations against Abrego Garcia yesterday that they aren't charging him with in the indictment at all. She's made it crystal clear she's just a total tool for the administration, and she's only been on the job for a couple of months.

This just keeps getting better and better. Absolutely no surprise whose side he's on though. He's had it out for Musk since before the inauguration.

DeSantis is term limited and can't run for governor again this time, so there's definitely a good opportunity there it seems to flip the governorship this time.

    LOL I really thought this was gonna be a little spat that would blow over pretty quickly, but with Musk dropping the Epstein bomb this is starting to become personal and looking like it could possibly turn into something much more serious. Right now it's still all talk though, so enjoyable as it is to watch, still have the feeling they'll get tired of taking shots at one another before much longer and find some other idiocy to engage in.
