    Yep. He was clearly lying to her. Seems kind of strange he'd be so two-faced when he's so powerful generally acts like he generally doesn't give much of a shit about his subordinates. Then again, he's hiding himself among humans with multiple different identities, so guess it's not that strange.

    Wonder why the demons even bother with the regular world when they've got a cool place like that to hang out. The "infinity" in infinity castle sure doesn't seem like it's at all an exaggeration.

    A Quiet Place Day One 7/10 Despicable Me 4 8/10 Kung Fu Panda 4 8/10 Boy Kills World 9/10 (That was... just insane. Incredible fight choreography. I loved how even though the main character doesn't speak, you get to hear his thoughts, basically imbuing the film with its own running commentary track, which at times is pretty hilarious. Lisa Frankenstein 7/10 (Such a wacky concept behind this one. Reminded me of Sweeny Todd a lot. Basically a dark comedy with some 80s nostalgia splashed into it.) Ride On 10/10 Jackie Chan at his best. I've only ever cried, like actually cried watching a movie like twice ever before. This was the third time. Second time it's been with a movie about a horse, so I guess it's not all that surprising. The other time was one about a dog. Obviously I have a soft spot when it comes to animals. Even putting that all aside anyway, I still thought this was a great movie. Not the best action stuff he's ever done, but some of the best acting I'd say. The relationships between him and his daughter and him and the horse felt so sincere and real. Oh and then too, the way the movie kind of served as a tribute and paid homage really to his whole career as a stuntman. Just loved it.

    Watched the final season of Discovery of Witches. Gotta say that was definitely a letdown from season 2, but at least they wrapped everything up pretty well. Also got to check out Obi-Wan Kenobi, which was pretty awesome. Great bridge between the prequels and the original trilogy. And last but not least, I got to see the first season of Wednesday, and woe nelly! That was just so so fun. At first I wasn't totally sure what to expect from it, but after a few episodes I realized, okay, she's basically a darker, more deliciously morbid Nancy Drew.

    Figured this was coming pretty imminently. Good to see Biden making the right choice. When you lose the Daily Show as a democrat, you know you have no chance really going forward. Smart to wait till just after the republican convention till they have their ticket fully locked in now. This should significantly improve the democrats' chances. Contrary to the republican collective delusion that Trump is a stronger candidate somehow now, I think it's pretty clear he's weaker than ever. What's strengthened his position a bit really is how the right wing brainwashing machine has extended its reach and grown much more sophisticated and relentless in pounding out its programming into people's brains since he left office. The idea the republican party coming out of their convention has any kind of real unity going on is just a total illusion. The only reason it appears that way is because they don't tolerate any dissention and run anyone out of the party who doesn't march in lock step.

    Okay, I'm ready. No chance of me oversleeping and missing the start of the block tonight. Actually, TBH I thought last week was the season finale. Really glad I was mistaken and still get to see the finale this week along with everyone else. Time to kick some Brainiac behind.

    Rewatched season 1 of The Ark before watching the premiere of the first episode of season 2 last night. Had been looking forward to its return for a while. Also, really looking forward to the final season of Snowpiercer debuting in a few days. They had said it wouldn't air till early 2025 originally. Glad to see they changed their minds and we don't need to wait that long anymore.

    Lee going to Tenten for help when it comes to gift giving... Like the blind leading the blind. LOL Even Neji's ghost couldn't help him. Finally went to see Guy-sensei. Surprised he didn't go see him in the first place. A bodysuit? ::facepalm::: Naurto and Hinata in bodysuits? I can't unsee that now, great.
