I honestly haven't had any songs stuck in my head for a while now. My mind has been busy, elsewhere, most likely on a wild goose chase, trying to find something. I mean there's always like a collection of old songs in the back on my mind but they usually don't get stuck playing in my head they're just there for inspiration or because they are attached to a memory. I can look at the Billboard 100 and find the most recognizable hit song that I can enjoy but don't derive any deeper meaning out of than a pleasant distraction on my car ride to or from work. Well, I tried looking at the Hot 100 list and only recognized 'Body Like a Back Road'; which isn't a bad song but not one of my personal favorites, nor does it ever get stuck in my head. Let me go over to YouTube and see what's popular there. I honestly can't find anything over on YouTube, either. In fact it's all somewhat frightening that I don't recognize any of the popular content right now. The only song that I can think of that I thought was catchy and looked up a couple months ago was 'Square Hammer' by Ghost. Unfortunately while I find it to be a catchy song I do not like the lyrical content, whether it's serious or not. I remember watching a wrap-up video on The Needle Drop, YouTube channel of music critic Anthony Fantano (it was either him or DoseOfBuckley), at the end of last year and he said something to the effect that songs that play on the radio are following the same trend they've always followed, where new music tries to emulate and ride the waves of popular music of the time, but that the music that's popular these days is so boring, bland and sterile that everything that comes of just feels washed out, lo-fi, low energy, dream popish. So currently nothing really stands out, mainstream music has fallen into a spiral and the artists who are not as well known or on the fringe have their fan bases and do middling to fine with the individual support of their fans. I'm just one person though, and this is only how I feel. I have no pedigree in music history, appreciation of music, the historical and cultural context of certain eras and genres. The music that plays in my head most of the time is the music I wish I knew how to create and breathe life into. It was a dream and maybe it was only a dream, but I saw it and I felt it. I called out to it and it smiled and faded away. Maybe I'm going about it the wrong way. Maybe it only comes to you and I'm on a wild goose chase. My one true hope in all of this, though, is that I'm not being deceived. True faith is a hard sell when you find something so sporadically.

Racist horror movie perpetuates myth that black people think cameras steal souls

Did you see the Mulatto that works at the 'Needful Things'-esque antique store? He wasn't afraid because he's only half Moorish. Then when the ghost comes to kill him he takes the form of a literal spook. -

Because the plot of the movie is a ripoff of a Goosebumps book. -

No, I think I specifically remember watching and old National Geographic tape about African tribes and when the crew said they wanted to take pictures of the chief he replied "Ooga booga! Ooga booga!" to which the on team interpreter translated to "Been spending most my life living in a gangstas paradise, whistle click click click, whistle." The crew seem confused for several moments before the chief's body glowed with light, he began to levitate and the earth quaked. Slowly the ruins of an ancient pyramid spaceship ascended into the sky, hovering for mere seconds before collapsing in tandem with the chief. -

I thought African tribes had similar beliefs. But then again they can make rain appear by dancing and levitate so what do I know maybe they're on to something. -
Zeni better watch out if he decides to step to Nabs. One time Nabs power slammed a guy trying to bear hug him into a rack of Hostess cakes and the local Circle K.

The only thing I notice is that your online status indicator has a little grey ball next to it now. I guess that's I how I know you're my buddy?
-
Are there any functionality things that come with doing that? Or is there a box somewhere that will just tell me if he's online or not? What does adding a Buddy do?

I usually just shave every 4-5 days. It doesn't grow very fast and it's just more manageable that way.

I like little fairs like that. They're fun to walk around and sometimes there's really good food too.

Btw update on my spider bite. Mom wanted me to go to the hospital because her sister said the venom is in my bloodstream and could kill me (she's a whacko). So I went and they said I've been doing okay at keeping it clean but to use antibacterial soap and water instead of hydrogen peroxide from now on. Then they rxed me a couple antibiotics (probably more for my mom's mental health than anything else). So yay foot's not gonna rot off yet. Gonna have to wait for the beetus to set in fore that happens.

Doesn't have to be anything spectacular or interesting really (as you'll see with mine), just curious to see what you people can come up with You don't have to show your face in the video, you don't even have to speak (I did, for several reasons) Just show us what you got.

The dude that gave Goldar his deadly cocktail died a few months after he did. Idk if it was conventional suicide, intentional overdose or withdrawal effects from benzos. He would eat 20 - 30 bars a day. Dude was totally gone mentally, couldn't hold conversations, would go from laughing to crying at the drop of a hat and vice versa. It makes me feel shitty because it's sad that's he's dead, I know his family loved him and misses him... But the fact that he was either too stupid, fucked up or scared to call the paramedics for Goldar really really pisses me off to this day. That's not to say you can't remove all the blame from Goldar himself, he was consciously taking things he shouldn't have been taking. If only he had been more educated and cautious.

Everyone has problems. Quit judging me like you're Mr. Perfect or something.
