i wouldnt say straight up outright sucked but the game needed way more polish. especially the segments where the gameplay switches over to the 2d camera angle. and it does it often in this game. sonic moves too fast and you lose track of where he's cuz theres too much on screen going on.

just dont be consumed by the hate and i think you can be fine.
