Having a character in the show say "Let's do this" isn't really much better, so combine both of those in the promo and it's a surprise I still follow the show each week.

Bad weeks happen. There's no real reason to get majorly distressed over it. This doesn't appear to be another January 2015 situation, so I don't think we need to worry about the future of Toonami just yet.

I don't really stream much of anything, so I can't really say I care all the much about problems with the Adult Swim app. Admittedly, though, the app could have a bit more to it.

Good news if I ever heard it! I do have to say that 11:30 is quite an interesting time for the show to air; I would have expected midnight at the earliest. There's no way this is gonna air before DBS, and I doubt they'll take away the Toonami showing (not after promoting it so much), so I guess that means Super is moving to 11. Toonami is slowly getting it's hours back.

Nostalgia for me. Watching anime on an old CRT takes me back to when I was young and that was what we had in our living room.

My analysis of this thread thus far: Ben exists at this point solely to trigger Moose into a rampage that would inevitably result in his account being banned. His reason for doing this is that Moose, apart from arguing with Jman, has refrained from the shenanigans that had time and time again resulted in his banning from ASMB. This scares Ben, as Moose was always the prime target for rage, being that he would be banned anyway. Now that some of that hate has turned onto Ben, especially given the recent events with Tite Kubo and the Bleach cancellation, Ben finds it necessary to restore the status quo, with Moose being enraged, and most of the hate directed towards him.

Can't we all just bitch about Shippuden instead? Isn't that much more fun?

Shitty situation, but it's good that Crunchyroll is still doing well.

Showing it twice a week would have made the pacing seem at least a bit more bearable, and even then the earlier episodes didn't have much of a pacing problem. It also would have covered Alabasta, an arc which (at least from my observations) a lot of people like. Would there be a lot of people watching? No, but they didn't pick up One Piece with the intent of having it kill in the ratings like DBZ Kai. I think there at least would have been a steady audience of people watching from the beginning.

Yep, that's what I was referring to. Or trying to refer to, anyway.

So here's the question: Is the drop from DBZ Kai to JoJo due to JoJo being the follow up, or is it due to DBZ Kai being the lead in? I don't really want to suggest it, but it might be worth it to move JoJo down and put another show at 12:30 to see if it retains from DBZ Kai any better. Other for JoJo, the retention rates look pretty good this week. Even One Piece had close to 90% retention.

I'm fairly certain you said you hated light novels. It wasn't on these boards, it was back on Lithium, so obviously I can't check it.

Might as well post something at least somewhat on topic... Ideally Toonami could have aired One Piece from the beginning and 2 times each night. At least then we could have started from the beginning and, barring a marathon here and there, could have gotten to about the same point we are now without nearly as much of a wait.

I'm not incredibly excited by that drop from DBZ Kai to JoJo, but I'll refrain from other observations until the rest come in.
