I buy Blu-rays and DVDs when I have the money. I had a lot more disposable income in high school, but money's been tights for me as of late, so it's tougher.

I'd imagine so as well. I don't think Toonami has ever managed to get through a full run of both GITS and GITS 2nd back to back, so why start now? Besides, there might be some show that just ended they want to rerun, so I'd imagine that would take precedence over an ASA rerun.

Mobile Suit Gundam Episode 5

I'd have to say Shippuden. While I definitely have a problem with One Piece's terrible pacing, I can always marathon episodes of the show to get through the stuff quicker. Shippuden has filler that interrupts so regularly that I can't even do that. I also want to watch the whole series, so I can't just skip the filler.

Mobile Suit Gundam Episode 4

Good to see high numbers for the first few shows this week. I can only hope that the rest of the block did as well.

Mobile Suit Gundam Episode 3 Now that I'm caught up on Toonami hopefully I can make some decent progress on Gundam and Dragon Ball.

Toei has filed papers against TFS before though, haven't they? It probably has something to do with that.

It's not as bad as my expectations of it to be were. Mind you, that doesn't mean I LIKE it, because I don't. I think the assessment of Goku essentially being Peter Griffin is right, because that's the vibe I get off of him. Now I know Goku was never really intelligent, but in the other shows he seems to be more, I guess the word is "offbeat", rather than flat out dumb. Here he seems like he's had a lobotomy.
