  1. The fact that Togashi is just dead weight at this point really isn't in dispute, at least to me.
  2. They can't grant all the faithful's wishes. Besides, perhaps it was too expensive at the time.
  3. Oooooh... I'm not usually one to get what I already have (I have the Bandai release), but this just might be worth it. And yeah I'm a big Outlaw Star fan, too, if the username didn't clue anyone in.
  4. If Super really did screw the pooch on Saturday, that could appear to indicate that the casual audience really just has an interest in Dragon Ball Z, rather than anything Dragon Ball related. It doesn't help the Super has quite a bit more comedy than Z did, which might alienate a lot of people. Or maybe a lot of it was just UFC taking viewers. Being that it was the premiere of new Samurai Jack, I could see a lot of people tuning in for that and then leaving to watch something else. What time was UFC Saturday night?
  5. Yeah, Blatch is right, fuck your logical thinking.
  6. Ah, I assumed he was more involved than that. On the plus side, that means I can disregard all of Super as non-canon, much like GT and all of Bleach past episode 63.
  7. That's why it sells DVDs for Funimation and is one of the most popular streaming anime, right? Look I can accept the fact that One Piece really didn't catch on when Toonami aired it, but to say that the show is an entire failure in America is just plain ignorance on your part. The facts speak against you.
  8. I'm still not really a fan of Super. The comedy seems really out of place in it. Like, the comedy worked in Dragon Ball, but it really doesn't work here. It definitely shows that Toriyama didn't try when writing it.
  9. See this is funny because I'm actually having a lot more fun watching DBZ Kai than I am watching Super right now.
  10. HxH is a show that has a definite end point that is not too far off, only about two years from now. Even if the ratings do dip a little, that should at least compel them to finish off the run of the show.
  11. Yeah and then he would be on a hunt to get all the schedules off the internet. Actually, I think the Soul Eater incident was one of the reasons the old Adult Swim backdoor schedule died.
  12. Huh, I didn't expect to find out anything about the schedule this quickly. Reminds me of 4 years ago when Soul Eater replacing Samurai 7 got leaked early and DeMarco had a fit about it. But anyway, Tokyo Ghoul at 1:00. At the very least, I'm glad that JoJo isn't moving. It would be stupid to move it when it has barely a month left in it's run. I'm not so happy about HxH, though, relegated to 2:00. It is what it is, though, so not much worth in dwelling on it. I have to wonder if Tokyo Ghoul was going to be their replacement for JoJo when it ended. Do you guys think so?
  13. I mean I guess we technically can count HD Bebop, but even then, SD Bebop reran so many times that we can effectively consider HD Bebop a rerun.
  14. It was a quote from DeMarco's Twitter. Ben just quoted the info and didn't type anything outside of the quotebox, so when I quote the post it looks like nothing. This is what should be in the quotebox: "That's not why. Tokyo Ghoul will be airing at a different time than OP did. Short answer:ratings."
  15. One Piece is now gone. Moose went insane yet again So Moose is gone, too.
  16. I'd agree with this. The first three slots are obviously locked down, and we know how much Toonami doesn't like to change the schedule. It makes the most sense to just push JoJo and everything down and put Tokyo Ghoul right after DBZ Kai.
  17. Oh, I've heard of that one. I've seen some choice images of a certain scene at the end of one of the episodes. If that's the kind of shit Toku plays than thank God I don't get it.
  18. That one's nice, but I was thinking more along the lines of this one:
  19. Quite bustable behavior, in my opinion.
