    If they're not an irregular length, I'd say they have a chance. Just depends on what Sentai wanted to do with their contract. In general, that stuff is restricted so people have an incentive to watch the home video DVD/BD release. But it's kinda hypocritical that it never seems to end up on PAID STREAMING services, meaning they are forever somewhat inferior to physical media. For example, I've bootlegged the sub of Kill la Kill's 25th episode OVA, but I STILL haven't seen it dubbed! Wait, he has to use the shitty vegetables that butt-munch provided!? But the short-haired dude DOES have a point with Megumi needing to redeem herself! https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/review/food-wars-shokugeki-no-soma/episode-11/.89211 Grade: "A-". Kojiro's dish was a showstopper, inducing Sailor Moon-esque transformations in the judges, but what about Megumi and Soma's? I guess we'll find out next week in the first cour(se) finale? P.S.: This show always makes me stupid hungry, even if I'm watching ludicrously late at night!

    The remake of that show and Star Blazers are the two shows I'd most like Toonami to replace this with. But somehow I think Toonami will just move Lupin up to 3 AM and put either Dragon Ball Super or gen:LOCK (uncut??) reruns at the end of the block!

    BTW, this episode begins the 6th OVA. Three episodes cover the 6th OVA, whereas the first 5 got only 2. If you felt like the pace was really fast so far, it may slow down from here on out!

    *Something* is going to be announced for gen:LOCK soon, apparently, as Gill quasi-leaked during a recent Pre-Flight. Perhaps it's possible that Season 2 was complete or mostly complete before all hell broke loose at Rooster Teeth? Season 1 was already under production in early 2018, so it's quite possible that Season 2 was secretly produced in early-to-mid 2019, even if we're not sure how in the hell Michael B. Jordan and Maisie Williams somehow found the time to keep working on it. But even so, the upside to that is not nearly as big as a blockbuster Hollywood Gundam adaptation. I believe that the next Gundam show that Toonami airs won't be at 3 AM though!

    I don't think the prospects of Season 2 of gen:LOCK are completely shot yet. It COULD be that it's already "complete" but this stuff came down after it was produced. Or perhaps it would be a co-production between Gray Haddock and Rooster Teeth. Gill said something interesting on the August 30th edition of Pre-Flight, that there was some kind of forthcoming announcement regarding it. I wonder what that was all about...?
