"Nothing that would be available this year...Fire Force has nothing" What the HELL are you even talking about? Fire Force season 2 premieres in July, and last I checked, that IS this year! I also STILL believe FFS1 will get the July 4th marathon this year, just with episodes 18-24 instead of 15-24, with the new season starting July 11th.

I want to believe there's some silver lining to this dark cloud, like perhaps a Dragon Ball run on weeknights, but if so I have yet to see it...

To be fair, it is actually June 2016 all over again. From June to September of 2016, the block ran 11:30-3. I was afraid that when Dragon Ball Super ended, we might not be able to hang on to 11 PM. Man, I hate being right! Hopefully the 11 PM timeslot is reserved for some hot new simuldub April show and we just have to take our lumps in March. In the meantime, let the speculation fly as to what they're doing with the 11 PM timeslot. My guess is that they could be rerunning PRIMAL there. In fact, that would work out in both cases, since Primal could run from February 22nd to March 21st. Could Toonami somehow pull off enough of a coup that they premiere a show a week BEFORE Japan on March 28th?
