Well, as much as I loved the special stuff and trailers, I've got to admit that the lack of any information for the immediate future is disheartening. I hate to have to go into "if I were them" mode, but if I were them, I'd move Black Clover up to 12:30 and slot the returning JoJo at 1:30--IF it's even coming back. The future beyond the pandemic is bright for Toonami, but we have to get through this pandemic first, and that immediate future is anything BUT.

Dammit, I fell asleep before the vampire episode (though I did sort of wake up later that night and catch it), but somehow I missed the Vampire Hunter Dee thing! And I heard there was a Monogatari reference in one of these episodes?

Episode 13: "The Final Episode" "SEASON finale!?" What now!? Is Toonami actually going to tell more tales in the Paranoia Agent universe? Does Satoshi Kon have an estate which would agree to this?? Would it even be able to hold a candle to the original?? Don't think about that too long; it will drive you mad! Just watch Little Slugger's rampage tonight (7/25-7/26/20) on Toonami at a special time: 12:45 AM after an all-new anime short! ONLY TOONAMI!!!

I am slightly discouraged that it seems to just be ONE new show announcement, plus sneak peeks at Uzumaki and Blade Runner: Black Lotus, as well as of course the short. I can't help but notice the fact that we NEED TWO show announcements, but I guess Mob Psycho 100's replacement waits until next week. Hopefully this means we get either Mob Psycho 100 Season 2 on August 9th or we get the Reigen OVA special on August 9th (which would also give Black Clover a much-needed break) followed by Season 2 on August 16th. Hopefully whatever Paranoia Agent's replacement is, it will be a good show. And damn right I'm looking forward to Toonami's new originals!
