  1. So I guess our heroes will be coming across these buttholes soon? Oh boy, they're the hitmen!
  2. "The problem is I can't reach my pee-pee now..." If I had a quarter everytime I had to say that, I'd be broke!
  3. Let me make it clear, that's 1 AM WEEKNIGHTS, not 1 AM Saturdays. 1 AM Saturday hasn't been comedy since 2008, and even then, it was never live action trash!
  4. Tonight, hopefully my sleepy ass can stay awake for: Episode 15: When You Wish Upon A Spore -and- Episode 16: Can't Stand The Heat? Ultimate Kitchen Technique! Finish Them, Warrior Bard! It's futuristic fungus and Shakespeare, or something. Tonight back at its normal time, 2 AM! ONLY TOONAMI!
  5. As pointlessly long as the acronym is, it's a hell of a lot better than... SWORD ART ONLINE: ALICIZATION - WAR OF UNDERWORLD PART 2!
  6. EPISODE 012: MOB AND REIGEN Witness Mob Season 1's thrilling conclusion again! 1 AM tonight (8/1-8/2)--ONLY TOONAMI!!!
  7. Another Saturday, another classic episode of Dragon Ball Super! This week, the Zeno Expo heats up with... Episode 80: Awaken Your Dormant Fighting Spirit! Gohan's Fight!! Midnight tonight (8/1-8/2) ONLY TOONAMI!!!
  8. It is kinda strange that Season 3, Part 2 of AOT hasn't rerun yet (except of course for the next-to-last episode, which happened on 7/20 because they got into a new content bind with Fire Force delayed a week). That could be in the cards to replace one of the later timeslots. I personally was hoping for a weeknight run at 1 AM, since [as] has run Genndy shows there for the past 3 weeks, but that dream will have to wait, as 3 Busy Debras and Beefhouse are instead taking the 1 AM slot. Oh well; at least we still have Jack on Toonami! Is Blue Exorcist actually coming out with new episodes in Japan soon!? If so, that's news to me. The 2011 season coming back to Toonami would be damn near useless, but Toonami has never aired the 2017 season and that would be interesting to see on the block. I think Black Clover has really outdone Blue Exorcist at this point to the point where its return would just be trivial, but it could be an interesting 12-episode stopgap if Toonami wants to keep that flavor in the 1:30 timeslot if it runs out of Black Clovers and maybe slightly more likely than it was when it was first dubbed because FUNimation acquired it in February. If Toonami were to air that 12-episode season from September 12th to December 12th, with breaks for Halloween and Thanksgiving, and then bring back BC in January with a "new season", that would actually work out quite nicely! I think it also depends on whether Toonami can make it to Labor Day with BC and what kind of wrap-up that episode has though. As far as I know, [as] already lost the rights to TPN Season 1. Being only 12 episodes, it seems like Aniplex made it a 1-year deal. I would rather see Demon Slayer back on the block anyway. But I believe SAO-A:WOU2 is imminent from Aniplex.
  9. I guess they got it all back on a 2-year deal, but why August 14th I wonder? The first series returned on 9/29/18. Weird that they're not going on with DBZ KFC--Maybe they already lost the rights to that? But Adult Swim beginning its broadcast evenings on Saturdays with "Fight it Out to the End of the World" these days would have been somewhat appropriate! And I guess that means there will be THREE episodes of Dragon Ball Super on [as] every Saturday night, barring marathons and/or special events.
  10. Well, there goes my theory that this is a Toonami dub premiere beyond the first couple of episodes! But I'm still glad. All they have to do is dub one episode a month for us to get through 2020 ok.
  11. Page 127: "Clues" Enjoy the 3rd-to-last known dubbed episode of Black Clover with us! This Saturday night (8/1-8/2) at 1:30 AM ONLY TOONAMI!! OP: "Black Catcher (Version 3)" by Vickeblanka ED: "New Page" by Intersection
  12. Episodio 29: Get To The Roman Coliseum! (Verso il Colosseo di Roma) GioGio's back, baby!! And at a brand new less bizarre time: 12:30 AM, this (8/1-8/2) and every Saturday night, after a classic episode of Dragon Ball Super!! Only Toonami!!!
  13. That effectively extends it through August 15th at this point. If they can keep this up weekly, maybe skipping one more Sunday, we can make it to the end of August.

Alrighty then!
  15. Believe it or not, Toonami's Rick & Morty short actually did better than Robot Chicken on Sunday night, despite airing 30-45 minutes later: http://www.showbuzzdaily.com/articles/showbuzzdailys-top-150-sunday-cable-originals-network-finals-7-26-2020.html
  16. Yes, Black Clover will probably take a break from the block or at least go into reruns. But you are wrong that it's never happened before that a show had its first episodes released by other means before showing up on Toonami in dub premieres. It's happened at least twice: with Season 3 of Attack On Titan and JoJo Part 3: Stardust Crusaders. The former aired its first episode in theaters as a sneak peek in 2018, and the latter had a limited stream of the first 3 episodes way back on Independence Day Weekend 2014 before popping up on Toonami 3 years later (in fact exactly 3 years ago today to the day!) Both shows were dub premieres on Toonami once they got past the sneak peek episodes. I don't see Fire Force Season 2 "barely being on the block before getting removed prematurely". Think about what time of year that is: Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years. They've got 20 weeks to get 4-5 episodes done to go the distance. They'll probably do more. What's going on right now is FUNimation's resources are getting diverted to winter/spring shows to finish first. Once those are done, I believe they'll pay more attention to Black Clover and Fire Force.
  17. You're assuming that the same rules that apply to Black Clover, that it must stream on Funimation NOW first before airing on Toonami, and the rules that applied to MHA, apply to Fire Force. But we don't know for sure that is the case; it could be that beyond the first 2 episodes, the deal becomes more like Attack on Titan, in that Toonami gets first dibs and dubbing is under way semi-clandestinely. And also, who's to say Toonami won't surprise us and air an episode of BC that hasn't streamed on FUNiNOW yet??
  18. I sure hope not, but you may be right. Jojo got done after only a 2-month hiatus!
  19. It won't air at 1:30. Losing SAO resulted in us losing 11:30 in April, so I'd say if anything can bring it back, it's SAO's return at midnight.
  20. Is it just that particular area of Texas that got trashed especially hard by either COVID or Hanna!? Black Clover will be either going on hiatus or into reruns on Toonami soon at this rate!
  21. At 1:30, you may be right. Food Wars Season 3 has a shot, but I'd say SAO is high-profile enough that if it comes back in August, it would push DBS up to 11:30 and create a midnight dub premiere hour. Or maybe DBS falls to midblock? Nah, can't see that happening. Even in reruns, it seems to gel well with Family Guy better than most dub premieres.
