When BC lost its original 11:30 timeslot when FLCL returned in 2018, it ceased to be listed as a premiere. Also, continuing with my "5 Years Ago" series, Akame Ga Kill continued to KILL IT, buoyed by an unlisted network premiere of DBZ Kai that Toonami and [as] just recently lost the rights to after over 5 years!

What the hell is that supposed to mean? It's always listed as a rerun for some weird reason! But it didn't do TOO bad. Would have been #16 or #17 if included: Adult Swim’s line-up performed as follows: DRAGON BALL at 0.11/254K & 0.12/270K and 0.12/457K, JOJO’S BIZARRE ADVENTURE at 0.20, ASSASSINATION CLASSROOM at 0.19, BLACK CLOVER at 0.17/287K, FIRE FORCE at 0.15/250K, NARUTO at 0.13/219K, SAMURAI JACK at 0.13/243K, and GEMUSETTO MACHU PICCHU at 0.12/207K. I'm not buying that "0.12" for Toonami's DBS; it seems like they just got dyslexic and it should really be "0.21."

Or, maybe this time, to promote DC FanDome Part 2, they run a marathon of Robot Chicken DC Specials from 12 to 1:30, followed by a rerun of Batman Year Zero, on FRIDAY night 9/11. That might be more apropos to promote a Saturday event without disrupting Toonami again. And that way, Fire Force would only need to double-up ONCE to get through Season 1 at the current point to lead-in to the premiere of Season 2 on October 24th.

This scene was actually the last one to air before the ending credits in last night's episode. I didn't catch it with my east coast watching, but I did with my "delayed" (due to Samurai Jack and GSMP) West-Coast Watching! We heard his voice in the first episode of the return (Episode 29, I believe), but this is the first time he's actually appeared on-screen in Part 5.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that if, heaven forbid, something like this DID happen in the U.S., most essential services would be shielded. Plus, it's also most definitely a myth that even the MOAB would throw the entire country into darkness. The worst it would do is turn the lights out on an area the size of a small state.

Normal lineup next week, but I think it's still possible we get a different lineup on 9/12. Perhaps more DC movies for FanDome Part 2. After all, it will apparently be more animation-centric than Part 1 was!

I guess we're getting regular lineup next week too, but it is easy to forget. Last year's Labor Day weekend marathon actually got high ratings for that point in time, but it was actually on the equivalent of this weekend.

Episodes 12-14 are also highly underrated. If you can find them, I suggest giving them a rewatch. ON TO SHIPPUDEN FOR NOW!
