  1. This epic magical anime is almost to its indefinite hiatus, with only 4 episodes left to go, but DAMN is it EVER going out with a BANG! Next page tonight (9/25-26/21) at 2 AM! ONLY TOONAMI!!!
  2. Source: Did we REALLY think there was ANY other way they would handle this!? But wait...there's more! Anyway, I'm predicting that when (and IF) this season comes to Toonami, since Fena and MHA both wrap-up nicely on October 23rd, we'll get a Halloween marathon of some sort on October 30th (Promised Neverland Season 2, maybe? Or perhaps Fena...) and then DS S2 begins at Midnight on November 6th, then moves down to 12:30 for the movie reduxes for the rest of 2021 behind premiering Blade Runner on the 13th. BUT WAIT! We get an extra hour of [as] on November 6th, so we COULD still have Blade Runner premiere that night at Midnight, then DS at 12:30 and everything else after that shifted up or technically back 30 minutes as circumstances dictate: Yashahime 1:30 Food Wars 1st 2 AM Black Clover 1st 2:30 Shippuden 2nd 2 AM For Toonami to still end nicely at 4, slide in MHA S5 reruns at 2nd 2:30 behind Dr. Stone and DBS to end the night at 3, then either expand to 4:30 (sorry, Black Dynamite) on November 13th or boot DBS for a couple weeks in order to finish Dr. Stone at 3:30 behind MHA reruns at 3.
  3. According to both the DirecTV on-screen guide and the [as] website, the title is actually "A Knights VOW." Please update accordingly.
  4. Episode 13: Delicious Feudal Monks This title raises so many questions! Who are these feudal monks, and who in the hell thinks they're "delicious?" Have the Sesshomaru Sisters suddenly gotten thirsty!? Or has Moroha!? You'll just have to tune in to find out!! Witness the hilarity at 1 AM tonight (9/25-26/21), only Toonami!!
  5. Update about Lupin III Part 6: Streaming on HiDive. No mention of a Toonami airing, at least not yet. Doesn't look like it will be a dub premiere if so, unlike Parts 4 & 5. And CERTAINLY won't be one of the first 2 episodes! https://www.sentaifilmworks.com/a/news/special-lupin-the-3rd-theatrical-engagement-coming-this-october
  6. Tying back in with the subtitle of this thread, I decided for some reason to rewatch some old episodes of gen:LOCK tonight, since it has been 2 years since Toonami aired the show, and it occurred to me that it's the ONLY mecha show that Toonami on [as] has aired before midnight so far: Gundam IBO got 12 AM, 12:30, and 1 AM Other Gundam shows got either 1 AM, 2 AM, or 3 AM Gurren Lagann got 2 AM and 1:30 AM Kill la Kill got 12:30 AM SSSS.Gridman got 2:30 AM Eureka 7 got 1:30, 2:30, and 3 AM Big O got like 2:30-3:30 AM Can y'all think of any others? Were there any mecha-heavy shows (and not mecha-esque like AOT) that were gifted with a timeslot before midnight on Toonami?
  7. Wow: "Adult Swim’s line-up performed as follows : FENA: PIRATE PRINCESS up 0.02 to 0.14, MY HERO ACADEMIA up 0.01 to 0.13, YASHAHIME up 0.02 to 0.11, FOOD WARS steady at 0.09, BLACK CLOVER up 0.01 to 0.08, NARUTO up 0.02 to 0.09, DR STONE down 0.01 to 0.05/118K, and DRAGON BALL down 0.02 to 0.04/105K." Absolutely wretched number for Dragon Ball Super; hopefully it's just a placeholder for something else. Dr. Stone didn't do much better either. I'll bet Naruto Shippuden and Samurai Jack are is doing better than that at 5 AM on Tuesday-Saturday mornings! Maybe they should just move DBS to one of those timeslots? Jack showed episode 38 this morning, so it has 14 episodes left to go, for a total of 3 more weeks at the current rate of 5 episodes per week, unless they show season 5 this time, in which case, it would have 5 more weeks to go. Shippuden, meanwhile, just showed Season 15, Episode 9, so it has 4 more weeks to go at it's current pace to get to the end of Season 15 again. Hopefully they get to show a little further into Season 16 this time, but right now, it looks like it will need a reset in about 7 weeks. Hopefully they plan on mixing up one of those timeslots when that time comes!
  8. College Football is king, and Fena's just a damsel in distress at this point: https://showbuzzdaily.com/articles/showbuzzdailys-saturday-9-18-2021-top-150-cable-originals-network-finals.html Second week in a row with no Toonami show over 300K, but at least it seems all shows did a bit better in Adults 18-49 and perhaps some other key demos.
  9. Wow, ANN really panned this one! https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/review/yashahime-princess-half-demon/episode-12/.167652 2.5 stars, but at least the community score is 3.7.
  10. Why'd we keep this thread going? Wasn't it time for a new one without a misspelled title?
  11. I have DirecTV, and I wasn't completely unscathed. No episode number or title for MHA or Black Clover!
  12. Just watched this episode again, and I've gotta say I'm even more confused now, even though if they can somehow revive Yukimaru, all's well that somewhat ends well! Marin Miller voices one of the other Rumble Rose pirates, not Grace O'Malley. Grace is voiced by a woman named Dawn M. Bennett.
  13. Here we go, episode #27 (203):Call From The Dead!
  14. We're beginning at the end...of the Frieza Resurrection saga! 3:30 AM TONIGHT (9/18-19/21) ONLY TOONAMI!!
  15. If this is filler, it's really good for filler! MUCH BETTER than your average filler!
  16. 358. Well, that's good. But this filler HAS to be related to the main backstory, right? This feels more like "embellished canon" than filler.
  17. S.A.R.A. is quite astute! This whole arc is about Kakashi!
  18. Well, at one point they KINDA were?
  19. Totally! Well, on to Naruto Shippuden!
  20. This is a damn good episode!
