I got a few hours into the game and stopped. It's not bad but it didn't hold my attention. Definitely agreed it doesn't hold up like Chrono Trigger or FF III/VI.

He's still very active so there is a decent chance. He mentioned SoR4 on Twitter with a -no comment- in regards to his involvement.
