No. Kmart wouldn't be in the sad state they are in if this was the norm. My grandmother retired early from Kmart in the 90s. Granted, she was a big wig... she got out at the right time. Also I was going to ask the same thing. Maybe The Amish are what is keeping Kmart afloat.
