Rogue_Alphonse
Literally they are dying. And the ttle- that is what happens when they do. I have no idea where AAA batteries are in this houseyet and I'm too lazy to go dig. Luckily, I have an Apple keyboard I can use! ... ... ::HMM:: ... Okay I have gotten a litle used to the thing, as it is my "compact travel keyboard" but still. UGH.
Top Gun
I genuinely do not understand wireless full-sized keyboards. I mean a mouse I get, because the cord can be a pain sometimes, but your keyboard doesn't move in the first place. Just plug the thing in.

Well I use this beast as a TV and whatnot because it has a built-in tuner. Plus I HATE wires

Rogue_Alphonse
Yeah, I do that to...I stream things through my TV and use the wireless keyboard on my bed...it's really comfortable When all is said and done, I'll have my TV in the lounge area hooked to my PC in the studio behind where you sit in the lounge... so I can just walk out with my mouse and keyboard and do PC shit from my big ass recliner. PhilosipherStoned
Why are you using a wireless keyboard?
Rogue_Alphonse
that's first world pimpin' right there 8) Right? Plus the PC is an all-in-one touch with a TV tuner built in. I'm hooking it up. OH and not only will the studio have a bangin' Kenwood stereo from 1990, but I have this newer Yamaha surround unit hooked up across the lounge and bar area which is connected to the TV so anything and everything can be in BAD ASS surround. I know how to party :brownbottle:
Rogue_Alphonse
Why are you using a wireless keyboard? Not a gamer. And if I have any games on this thing, they're played with a PS4 controller.
Top Gun
To each their own I guess. Personally I'll stick with my bitchin' mechanical keyboard.
PhilosipherStoned
I go in and out of online gaming tbh.. I havent been actively playing anything this year.. I'm still pretty sure a wireless keyboard would piss me off.. plus I bought this "mechanical" keyboard for like 20-30 bucks tops on new egg when I built this computer and it's still going strong... It was the cheapest thing I swear.. Pretty sure I ended up paying zilch for it since new egg and whatever other companies where throwing all kinds of free shit in... My build set me back about a grand though.. It's the same shit as a "gaming" build, but I put it together for music production.. if you want to run a good DAW and work with Hundreds of Wav files etc.. You need the same shit a gamer has if not more... When I was in college I wrote my EOS paper on the crap people have to do to get everything they want out of a recording studio.. Went over well. It was for CIS 101 or what ever I had to take that year.. I need to finish this degree, but college is stupid.
Top Gun
Yeah, the nice thing is that nowadays, even a sub-$1000 build is plenty capable of handling a wide array of games with decent settings. Intel hasn't really done much improvement on the CPU end over the past few years, and now AMD is coming out with some sort of new architecture that people are hoping will drive innovation. Sieg67
Batteries are always in that one drawer in the kitchen. Only thing though is that you don't know if they're good or dead.
