I wish I could just lay under a nice warm kotatsu all winter long and just sleep until spring like Yurie. Well, this show managed to warm my heart a little at least. Loved all the characters, but Matsuri was definitely my favorite. She reminded me a lot of Miu from Strawberry Marshmallow with the way she's kind of always scheming and stirring up trouble that she's dragging her friends into. Slice of life shows kind of need characters like that I think to keep things from getting too stale or boring.

I appreciate they were able to do an English dub for this, but gotta say I'm disappointed they took so many liberties in totally changing the dialogue with it at times. Anyway, show has it's moments and I'm enjoying the comedy aspect of it, but I mean parts of the story are just so ridiculous it kind of bothers me a bit, I gotta be honest. Still got a ways to go though, so hoping it doesn't get too out there.

Not the worst place to leave things off I guess. I actually enjoyed the second half or so a lot more than I did the first part. Less of the silliness and more character development I think are what made the difference mainly. Surprised that the manga is still going. Probably means they won't be animating the rest any time soon though sadly.
