ben0119 Posted March 8 Posted March 8 Damn guess they do know what Samurai look like. So much for my plan. 😄 And LOL Kinemon removed all doubts. Raizo IS there? And they let all that shit happen over one guy?!
Dark_Cloud_Overhead Posted March 8 Posted March 8 What the what? I had a feeling they were gonna actually bow down though, the way they were building it up so much with them walking up to them so slowly. 1
ben0119 Posted March 8 Posted March 8 I am shocked! Like family?! But they acted like they hated Samurai all this time LOL. They're good actors. 😄 2
CorbeauKarasu Posted March 8 Author Posted March 8 bro, when i read this in the manga. i cried so damn hard. i was starting to think nothing in thie series could surprise me after all we'd seen. god damned loyalty. no one said a single word 2
ben0119 Posted March 8 Posted March 8 So why was the monkey crying and freaking out? Were they tears of joy? 😄 2

Top Gun Posted March 8 Posted March 8 This still might be my favorite twist that Oda ever pulled. Blew my goddamn mind the first time I watched it. 4 1

Top Gun Posted March 9 Posted March 9 Zou is one of my favorite arcs in the entire series because of how much Oda plays around with his own narrative conventions that he's established for so long. Half the crew only arrives on Zou after the main arc villain has shown up, destroyed the place, and left of his own free will (and possibly even died?), and the other half doesn't even get there until the conflict has been resolved and all that's left is the after-party. We only learn about what happened at the same time as Luffy's group does. And in any other arc what happened with Sanji would be far and away the most shocking thing, but then we get hit with this bombshell which completely flips what we knew about its events upside-down. It's probably not a shock to first-time viewers to hear that the surprises are far from over. 2
