Too many minor characters dying this season. I thought that way when Kira bit it, and I feel that way now.

I mean, it is Kenpachi's fault for being a  dumbass, Yummichika and Ikkaku.

But how is he running his nerves through the ground and buildings?  I just thought of this, but is it because the Soul Society is made of reishi, which Quincies can manipulate?  Could Pernida not do this in the World of the Living?

When Pernida revealed itself in the manga, I thought of the Hamburger Helper mascot.  Did you know this guy has a name and it's Lefty?  They're both left-handed, what a coincidence. 🤣

When I first saw this little Jawa/Black Mage/Orko looking fucker and how he seemed to swallow up the roots of Hikifune's Tree of Life, and tore up Yoruichi's arm, I figured he had gravity manipulation abilities.

I never would've guessed he was a giant hand that could use his nerves to control things!
