So, I can finally say this now that the battle is over.  After Juha Bach used Auswehlan to bring the Royal Guard back to life, Squad Zero was defeated OFF SCREEN in the manga!  That whole line about being stronger than all the 13 Squads combined made them the laughing stock of Bleach for ages.  The anime did major rehabilitation on them.  That whole battle besides Juha vs Ichibe was new, blood oath was new, even some extra fighting was added before the Royal Guard got revived.
