I remember thinking Shanks was on Raftel *ahem* Laugh Tale that first time we saw him in "present day," but I'm pretty sure that's not the case after all haha.

Someone asked last week whether Laugh Tale had ever been mentioned before. i feel like this is the first time, but i remember that before a couple years ago, the fandom was under the impression that the island's name was Raftel, so it's possible that we've heard it referred to that way before..

when One Piece Stampede premiered in the states, it was shortly after Oda gave us a ronam letting transliteration of the island's name for the first time. i remember being confused in the theater when they called it Laugh Tale

So all the different animal people are just one tribe?  Well, I suppose the Fishmen were different types of sea creatures.  So these are like the mammalian fishmen?  And they hate humans too LOL.  But you can't come up with a better name than Mink Tribe?

Oda does a good job of setting seeds (obvious, i know)

i remember wondering if the series had jumped the shark when the toys of dressrosa were introduced in the manga, but their backstory and explanation ended up being amazing.

and i would definitely have thought the Minks were some asspull if we hadn't met Bepo years before.

But that nose guy ate a Devil Fruit that turned him into a giraffe man.  So that means he ate a Devil Fruit that turned him into a member of the Mink Tribe??  What if somebody who was already a giraffe person ate it??
