CorbeauKarasu Posted November 30 Author Posted November 30 Someone asked last week whether Laugh Tale had ever been mentioned before. i feel like this is the first time, but i remember that before a couple years ago, the fandom was under the impression that the island's name was Raftel, so it's possible that we've heard it referred to that way before.. when One Piece Stampede premiered in the states, it was shortly after Oda gave us a ronam letting transliteration of the island's name for the first time. i remember being confused in the theater when they called it Laugh Tale 1

CorbeauKarasu Posted November 30 Author Posted November 30 Oda does a good job of setting seeds (obvious, i know) i remember wondering if the series had jumped the shark when the toys of dressrosa were introduced in the manga, but their backstory and explanation ended up being amazing. and i would definitely have thought the Minks were some asspull if we hadn't met Bepo years before. 2
