Dark_Cloud_Overhead Posted yesterday at 01:17 AM Posted yesterday at 01:17 AM Welp, there goes CNN. I stopped watching them a while ago, but I know people for whom it's still their primary news source. Funny thing is, I own a small amount of WBD stock, and just got in the mail a notice to vote about approving the Netflix deal. I was going to do it tomorrow, but guess now i don't need to bother. Anyway, there was no real good way for this to ever go I guess. Just more of a choice of what was the lesser of two evils. Sadly, I think the greater evil prevailed. Quote

Both companies collapse under giant debt 3. Both companies get sold off for a bargain price to cover essential expenses 4. Netflix gets them both for pennies on the dollar 5. ??? 6. Profit 2 Quote
Sketch Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago Can we just go back to the original plan of WB and DIscovery splitting up without someone else buying them? What a mess. 1 1 Quote
Top Gun Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago It's comforting that there are people making tens of millions of dollars a year to sit at their desks and be complete and total fuck-ups 7 days a week. Oh wait no, not "comforting," the exact opposite word. Quote

Oh wait no, not "comforting," the exact opposite word. Which is weird, if it pays that much, you would think it’s in high demand. Yet adding “professional complete and total fuckup 24/7” to my resume has not gotten me any calls. 2 Quote

Oh wait no, not "comforting," the exact opposite word. Punchlines like this. Never liked them, never will. Quote
Jman Posted 8 hours ago Author Posted 8 hours ago Zaslav isn’t sure if the deal will close, just that he gets paid either way. Quote
