This sounds like an old Soviet Russia joke, but apparently toddlers can bite hard enough to kill snakes.

I bite my tongue in my sleep sometimes...its the most annoying tick that I've recently developed.

that was why I had to get the wisdoms out - they kept catching cheek, and then the cheek would swell which would just make it easier to catch next chew

I bit my arm while asleep once.  I had turned over [ normally once asleep I don't move at all ] and my arm sort of fell on my face. I had a dream that someone had snuck up behind me and was going to choke me so I just fanged the intruder. Instantly woke up obviously- good thing because I still remember clearly that my intention was to rip chunks out.
