The "SAME PERSON" being the  person who claimed to be one third taller than I am.  In other words, that portion referrs to Scoob, not me.

Now, go back to class for your English lesson before Miss Trunchbull finds out you're in here.

Okay, so every experiencef bartender I ever met is wrong on the subject and your funny little essays from people who didn't spend three decades working along with bartenders are right every time.

Got it.

You got caught in a lie and then got embarrassed before saying even more retarded shit unprovoked.

For all the screwed up kids in the 20th Century that were sent to the funny farm to drink crow water and be tied up to radiators... you should’ve been one of them.

Except, there's no lie there.

Scoob would have had a career in basketball, in comparison to my height.

Calling your own inability to grasp English does not make me a liar.

The inability to grasp the New American Book of Truncated English? You’re a fucking joke.

What essays on coffee not being a soft drink did I post.
I understand. I get it you’re tired of losing all the time. We beat every iteration of you on these many boards and have for over 2 decades so you must pretend you were talking about something else.
only thing I posted was that caffeine and nicotine are drugs and the definition of coffee vs soft drinks

the rest of the shit you’re saying didn’t happen

btw I worked as a bartender for many years and my brother is one and has been for decades so I know what I’m talking about

no bartender in any universe calls coffee a soft drink

Caffeine is a drug like lemon balm is a drug.

They do when it's inventory time.

How much of this or that was served during the shift and how much of each does the porter have to replace?

That has nothing to do with coffee being a soft drink or calling beverages with alcohol hard drinks. Nothing you say makes coffee a soft drink.  Mocktails aren’t soft drinks either although they may contain them.

I'm going to stay old school and call a duck a duck.

Soft drink is any beverage you can name that doesn't include alcohol.

Now, excuse me while I go and guzzle some lemon balm.  Yes, another soft drink.

According to ChatGPT, soft drink referring to any nonalcoholic drink hasn't been common in American English since the 19th century. By the turn of the 20th century, and the rise of drinks like Coca Cola, soft drink specifically meant flavored carbonated drinks.

So this is so outdated to the point of being archaic.

All except when local government requlations REQUIRE that soft drinks and hard drinks are to be listed in separate columns during the post shift inventory count.  Is it coffee without the Wild Turkey in it?  Soft drink.  Is it coffee to which Wild Turkey has been added?  Hard drink.

So I looked this up and government regulations with soft drinks brought up things like the soda tax in NYC. In the case you stated, I'm pretty sure they'd just label it alcoholic and nonalcoholic.

I think this is just your weird way of showing off about knowing an etymological factoid, why they're called hard and soft drinks. You havr history of doing such things.

But he’s wrong. Listing things on an inventory as hard drinks or soft drinks isn’t a thing and if it were it has nothing to do with coffee being considered a softdrink. It’s not

What lists are you talking about. Show me the lists that aren’t just menus separating alcoholic beverages, soft drinks and non alcoholic beverages

Those are the inventory lists, prepared by the bartenders, post shift, not publications to which the patrons have access.  It's done this way because the regulators in charge of alcohol don't want to wade through seven hundred pages of Pepsi, coffee, virgin marys, etc. when they only want the last three or four months of alcohol transactions.

I'm no longer an employee of any casino, I'm no longer in any contact with the bartenders and therefore no longer have any access to the documents you're asking for.

Now, I GAVE you the reason.

You're only arguing now that a handbook can be quoted on the subject while you deliberately ignore the final EFFECT of the same handbook.

Pooh doesn't understand the relations of cause and effect...

That explains all else about any subject to which Pooh claims a deep seated knowlege from eleven billion years of hanging out with people who under no circumstances ever knew the outside of academia.

You just make shit up when you approach the all is lost moment.
Packard doesn’t understand that everything is on the internet. Not just “academia” and regulations aren’t regulations if they aren’t written down.

show me the state regulations and the lists you’re talking about that must be made or they don’t exist.

They ARE written down.  That's what is ALREADY POSTED here!

Look, when the regs say that alcohol is what the regulatory authorities are interested in and NOT the soft drinks, how much sense does it make to keep them ALL in ONE single list?

The regulators DO NOT want to read ANYTHING about how many Coke and Grenadine concoctions were served when ALCOHOL is what they are there to track and control.

I don’t see them. Post them again. Post the regs post the list or its all nonsense from a pseudo intellectual who can’t stand to lose an argument.

You said by law they have to write a separate inventory list. Show me those lists show me the regulations that say that.

The old pick the nit to ignore what the LAW ends up causing.

As I SAID already... I DON'T WORK THERE anymore.  You're asking me to go into an area where I am NOT AUTHORIZED and commandeer a document for your amusement.

Cause and effect more simplified and dumbed down to its lowest common denominator for you:

Reg:  Outside beverages and backpacks are NOT permitted at the Cumberland County Fair Grounds.

Effect:  I carry a small handbag and keep packets of instant coffee powder in my shirt pocket.

Since the effect is the ONLY sensible way for me to carry the things I buy there and ensure my beverage of choice at a reasonable price, I am EFFECTIVELY REQUIRED to do so.

A very old bolt action shotgun, twelve gauge, missing the clip.  We just loaded one round at a time in it.  No, I did not read the make or model number.
