Jman Posted June 13 Posted June 13 I'm gonna cry, especially given the shitshows we normally get from Western mecha writers. 1 Quote
Toonamiguy321 Posted June 13 Posted June 13 Were they really gonna pay off the government to get it back? Quote

PokeNirvash Posted June 13 Posted June 13 On the one hand, I'm glad to see that tax write-offs aren't the be-all end-all to a show's existence. On the other, I believe it's time I paid a visit to David from Accounting. 1 Quote

In order to do a reboot, they would have to fully pay off the tax break they got on the show in the mid 00s. If they bought it back, it would be available to CN (or let’s be real, AS would get it just like Jack) to air and stream. Not saying it’s impossible, but I think this article is oversimplifying things a little and a reboot wasn’t as close as they are implying it was. 1 Quote

I, like more users on the Internet, did not react kindly to this news when it initially became public awareness. Besides, how much money did they really make off of consigning Megas to the puke bucket? Quote
Sketch Posted Saturday at 06:23 AM Posted Saturday at 06:23 AM It's entirely possible this new Megas was only going to be available legally outside the US. Either way if I didn't despise Zaslav before I sure as hell do now. Nice to know buying it on iTunes counted for something. 2 Quote
