Fortnite has all the energy of a 6-year-old smashing their entire toy box of action figures together.

Then again...

*dodges decrepit cabbage*

...so did Smash Bros.

I mean at least that started out as all first-party Nintendo characters, and even after it expanded game characters in general. Fortnite hasn't met a piece of pop culture it can't "How do you do, fellow kids?" with.

It is basically a toy chest with a lot of different toys.  Funny enough, both Marvel and DC made Fortnite crossover comics, but only DC’s played with the crossover bit.

If your comic lets you have Batman fight Snake-Eyes from G.I. Joe, you hop right on that.

I actually have a tinfoil hat theory that they made those models awhile back and weren't able to get all the red tape sorted until recently. I been playing Fortnite off and on for a few years now and the older anime characters look wonky or outright bad. But the newest ones look really good. Cool to see Bebop in another game but these skins don't look great. Really don't mind Fortnite. It's a pretty complicated game to get good at, build or zero build, and I figure they are just going to continue making it into a hub game with all manner of collaborations. You can basically play a few other games on there, as it is now, like all the LEGO stuff, racing, rhythm, even FallGuys kinda.

I suspect this duo of Spike and Faye will run around 2,800 V Bucks since they mentioned some items will come from in game quests, so it'll be around $22 for the both of them, which is their standard for these kinds of things. I'm fine dropping a little money here and there for these types of things but most stuff I don't care for. The shoes and songs cluttering up the shop are ridiculous, though. But is funny to see Godzilla rockin' some Jordans as he slam dunks.

Here is a comparison of the older and newer anime/cel shaded models

I think this and the Overwatch tie-in were originally planned for tie-ins to the live-action show, but after that crashed and burned, both were put in cold storage for a while.

That would be hilarious. Be interesting to see if the rest of the crew is added later on but has updated models. Guess this also means there is a non zero percent chance that Trigun may one day collaborate with Fortnite. Outlaw Star, of course, will remain in the shadows and I'm kinda fine with that, just leave it alone.

I just know some idiot is trying to pitch a live-action Outlaw Star, and I would hope trying to do Aisha would scare them off.
