CorbeauKarasu Posted January 19 Author Posted January 19 nanny nanny boo boo you can't leave the birdcage, though.... 1 1
Dark_Cloud_Overhead Posted January 19 Posted January 19 Where's all these animals come from anyway? Some of them were toys I guess, but did they really all come from the arena? 3
ben0119 Posted January 19 Posted January 19 Kubo didn't show Aizen's backstory because he didn't want fans to empathize and sympathize with him. I wholeheartedly agree with this. While there is something to be said for the sympathetic Marvel villains and manga and anime having similar villains, sometimes I just want a fully evil villains. Just let assholes be assholes. Some series, anime/manga, or otherwise, also have villains get unearned redemptions, it's called character laundering, which is even more annoying. But I have a feeling and I hope I'm right, that Doflamingo's backstory will make him even more unsympathetic. 🤣 1
DangerMouse Posted January 19 Posted January 19 Someone needs to take out snot jerk so we can focus on the fight without his annoying presence 2
CorbeauKarasu Posted January 19 Author Posted January 19 hm. i honestly don't remember that plot point. interesting

ben0119 Posted January 19 Posted January 19 I mean, Luffy punched the crap out of that other Celestial Dragon. I thought most of them were wimps like him. You know, cowardly and weak leaders wielding outsized power, and the actual strong people are their minions, it would not be unexpected at all. This morning?! All this has happened in one day?! 3

What is with these OP Devil Fruits in this arc?! This might be even more OP than Doflamingo's and Sugar's Devil Fruits! Oh, they can only make someone else immortal and then they die. Still lol. 1
Dark_Cloud_Overhead Posted January 19 Posted January 19 That's a crazy power. Wonder exactly how it's supposed to work. Do you need to sacrifice someone else's life and give it to someone else? Gotta be a pretty big price to pay or serious drawback to it somehow, otherwise don't see why Law would not want to use it. Anyway, I can't believe it only occured to me now, but I've been wondering for a while why the heart suit was the only one not represented in Flamingo's underlings. But Corazon! Duh! Spanish for heart.
saito34 Posted January 19 Posted January 19 This reminds me so much of the great British show The Misfits where one by one the characters discover what superpower they got after a strange electrical storm. All except for the unlucky one who apparently didn't get any power at all, or did he. Such an awesome show.
DangerMouse Posted January 19 Posted January 19 Doflamingo's proportions look kinda weird up there in that suit.

I always thought Luffy's power kind of sucked too..haha 1
ben0119 Posted January 19 Posted January 19 You fake mingo. 🤣 That looks like polluted England during the industrial revolution on steroids. Well, maybe this is more of Law's backstory than Doflamingo, after all. Exact date of death, really? Damn Law was a little edgelord lmao. Training child soldiers. Though seems most don't work out. At least they just let them leave and don't kill them. 3
CorbeauKarasu Posted January 19 Author Posted January 19 growing up in a trash heap kind of like luffy 2
ben0119 Posted January 19 Posted January 19 Thought Corazon was cool but he trips lmao. Not really sure what they think it's a good idea to play pranks on this guy?! Doesn't talk and hates children LOL. Now lights himself on fire LOL. And we end there. 🤣 Even still, you can definitely tell this guy is Doflamingo's brother. I think that feather boa is genetic, just like the hair and perpetual shit-eating grin. 🤣 2

Though bullets don't seem to do much in this show anyway. Law is perfectly fine after Doflamingo shot him umpteen times. 🤣 3
DangerMouse Posted January 19 Posted January 19 Looks like Brittany Lauda (Riko in Made in Abyss) is voicing kid Law. 1
