Not with a 640.  Your 800+ scores only indicate you don’t own anything of value, like property.

Good luck trying to use your scores for what they’re good for, namely getting a loan.

But haven't I already taken two mortgages in my own name at different times? When all the payments are made on schedule, the score rises.

Furthermore, I don't waste any time or effort on minimum payments for credit cards.  I never "carry a balance".  I charge a thing or two and pay off the entire amount due each and every month.  That also raises the score.  Then, there was the $3k personal loan I took out in 2023.  I paid it off in less than two months.  Score raised again.

It’s hideous. Use a luggage tag like an actual adult.

You can't see a luggage tag when it's mixed in with hundreds of others exactly like it... unless you want to spend an hour or more, pausing to lift and read them one by one.  It's like looking for that four leaf clover in a quarter acre field.

Your name was on a mortgage document, you didn’t actually take out a mortgage.  No bank will fall for that bullishit if they’re giving you money.  Now if your brother wants to use your name again and then murder you this time, your credit score is absolutely perfect.

His name was NOT on the mortgage.  Mine was the one and only name on it.

The plan of what?  Since then, he improved his employment and income and then paid off the entire amount.  I'm no longer in that picture and now, the whole house is his.  If I choose later to buy one, I'm all set.

You didn’t actually have a mortgage, you don’t own the property and you didn’t actually make any payments, and banks know that.  Experian doesn’t give a shit - they’re selling a service to slumlords and used car lots.

On the other hand, your brother could sell your name to the mafia and you can become the titular head of a money laundering operation.  That would also look great credit report.

My name was the one and only on both the mortgage AND the deed.  My mortgage, my title.  No other names were mentioned anywhere on the documents.

Imagine how his home looks since he had to snap that pic at the laundromat.

I assume after washing the human DNA from it

You aware, of course, that apartments are subject to periodic visits from code enforcement?  Nobody gets to stay in an apartment thirty years by being dirty.  Gotta keep it right or code guy has me kicked out.

Not your mortgage.  And your name isn’t on the title you lying sack of shit… unless you’re paying your brother’s taxes for him out of your big fat settlement check.

Where do you even come up with this shit?  How could it not have been my mortgage when mine was the SINGULAR name on it?  Not my brothers name, not William F. Buckley's name, not the man in the moon.... MINE!  Yes, that includes the title, no matter WHO or WHAT was paying the taxes on the place.  The only thing that matters is that the taxes WERE paid and those responsible for collecting that just simply DON'T CARE where the money came from.

Well, there’s this thing called common sense, but feel free to prove me wrong.

I’ll give you two opportunities to prove me wrong.  Either there’s a property tax bill with your one and only name on it, or you have a deed with your one and only name on it.  Prove me wrong you by posting either here for us to see.   Remember, I know what your first and last initials are, so you can even block out most of your name with a sharpie.

Look, what makes it so hard for you to comprehend a guy earing $30k a year taking a $67k mortgage?

I maintained an immaculate use of credit cards, kept a proven record of adequate income for the size of the mortgage,  never had any accounts at all going into collections, no judgements ever made against me, and had some cash reserves in the bank.

Wtf do you think would have disqualified me?

But no, you're just going sit there thinking I have to dox myself.

Lol, you can’t dox yourself again.

What disqualifies you is the fact that not one cent left your bank account to pay for the mortgage with your name on it.  It doesn’t matter whose name is used to loan the money, although good luck trying that bullshit again.  The bank pulling your records knows you didn’t pay that loan.  They know you don’t have your name on any deed.  They look at your retirement and know your pension is below the poverty line not factoring your structured settlement.  And all they see is some threadbare schlub whose two bad months from living under the boardwalk.

You’re fucking poor and too dumb to know it.

That mortgage was taken out while I was still working.  You don't need to have more than three or four thousand in the bank to qualify, which is what I had at the time.   They were simply looking for the ability to make the payments.  At $30k per year on a $67k mortgage, that covered it, as well as the fact that I had already done it twice before... the very same way.

As for my pension, I'm worth more retired than working.  Current housing?  As long as I have this income, there is no month bad enough to put me out.

Well, I'm certainly not any of those folks who only stayed five or seven years and cashed out.  Every hour I worked in thirty three years was more money pumped into it.  It adds up.

Look dude, you almost exclusively value money, and your accomplishments aren't anything special.

There's nothing wrong with being satisfied with your life, but spending your time here to brag about how having a crappy job for 3 decades makes you brilliant and above everyone else only demonstrates how deeply dissatisfied with your choices you actually are.

You aren't here because you're successful. You're here to make yourself feel successful, while trying to drag everyone else down with you. It isn't the fault of anyone here that you regret your life choices and you're possibly the last person who could convince anyone here to settle.

None of what you say here is true.
