When my brother went to college in the sticks, he had a Christian phase. He fell for that deep etymology bullshit that some Christians like to do. He said men were meant to do labor and women were meant to give labor. The thing is labor is not universally used in all languages to mean childbirth, and the Bible was not written in fucking English.
