And the first ten steps were always just how to get out of your driveway and to the highway, step 11 saying which exit to get off was the first step that mattered.

I don’t think I ever used Mapquest, but I jumped straight to a GPS in the ‘90s from a Thomas Guide.

Only thing I remember about using MapQuest was when it sent me miles past where it should have and having to wait for an exit to double back.

.....I'm not at all sure how I got places, but I just realized I don't think I ever drove anywhere I wasn't familiar with the area, or had a guide with me....there is no way I could use MapQuest...

But I do remember printing them out for people who came to the casino and had no clue how to navigate the coast. They would usually grab the last page and throw the first page away because like pat said, it was all basically terrible suggestions on how to leave the parking lot

Ending up lost because the papers flew out the window or it was just plain wrong from the getgo

3 pages flapping in the wind was a lot better than those trip gizmos given out by AAA they came with huge ass maps that blocked the windshield altogether. I’m convinced, to this day, that no one knew how to read them 😆
