There's been talk about how if it happens, it won't be by David, since apparently a lot of the staff that worked on JoJo's has left. Personally, I could see it being in CG by a different studio, if only because that'd make animating those horsies easier. I mean, that's not what the average fan would want, but I think being in an alternate universe gives you another valid reason to do it.

Does this affect Fire Force Season 3? The two Toonami staples by David Productions are so wildly different in style it might be a different crew...

I wouldn't expect it to, but that's more a matter of principle. You know they'd pull out all the stops for JoJo's, but not so much a small-potatoes shonen property.
