Yes, this is an adult swim related story as Pee Wee’s Playhouse did air on Adult Swim and arguably reignited enough interest for a Broadway revival and a Netflix movie.

At first I was too sad to even find a throwaway adult theater joke funny after this news. Then I remembered Gottfried being a cheeky motherfucker about the incident.

Modern day AS would never have the balls to do something so absurd. Airing things like this are what helped put AS in the history books.

What do you expect from a country where it's a crime to pay someone for sex....  but it is 100 percent legal to pay a woman to have sex with you on camera and then sell the video.

I at least understand why completely unregulated prostitution is frowned on, but if you are going to an ADULT theater which is obviously going to show porn to the audience, did they expect people to just chill and eat popcorn from a container that does NOT have their dick in it? Why even let the place exist at all if that was an issue? Just seems to me like someone was out to tank his career.
