SwimOdin Posted March 10, 2023 Posted March 10, 2023 I would be glib, but I have progeny. Time to strap a nuke to Elon Musk and launch him towards it! 1 Quote
The_annoying_one Posted March 10, 2023 Posted March 10, 2023 Bruce Willis will save the day again! Oh, wait…. Too soon? >_> Quote
Gemini Posted March 10, 2023 Posted March 10, 2023 (edited) I heard about this. The asteroid is the size of an Olympic-size swimming pool. So that's 50 meters in diameter. Plus, it's pretty unlikely it even collides with Earth, like a 1 in 400 chance according to the astonomer mentioned in the story. There's nothing to worry about. Now if there's a Texas-sized asteroid like in Armageddon, on the other hand, we're fucked. Edited March 10, 2023 by hornedlizardman Quote

Two problems gone at once. That damn stunt Tesla is still circling the planet...maybe if we push it towards the asteroid the collision and subsequent rock-melting explosion will do something. 2 Quote
tsar4 Posted March 12, 2023 Posted March 12, 2023 "2023 DW (Death Wish) has a Torino Scale ranking of 1." So it means it's like being hit by a single 2023 Ford Torino. 1 Quote
