when you start posting pics of your jeep climbing rocks intermixed with pics of mozzarella sticks in your belly button, the transformation will be complete

I used to drive jeeps like 15 years ago.

Until my Wrangler decided it didn't like having teeth on its gears. And then decided it would rather have its differential in thousands of pieces. Then it decided to crack its block.

Then I figured out I was becoming this:

I got a 99' Cherokee right after deciding to stop wasting my time working on my lemon of a Wrangler and I do miss that one, but it was also plagued with issues.

I have a couple friends that got Jeeps from the last couple years and they say they are better. But I have been hearing that about Jeeps with every model. Hope you have better luck than me!

I mean I’ve heard of the death wobble but it seems to only pop up when you lift it. I mean I’m gonna but I think I’m going to find a proper 4x4  place to do it

They used to be alright before the 2000's but I have had three and learned that yes, they can go forever (the inline sixes were a good motor but I still managed to crack that block) but you end up having to do so much repair. And lifting them just exacerbates the issues.

I just drive a proper truck now for off road and pulling the trailer and then I just drive an old beater of a civic as a daily. The civic I have had for like 8 years now and its got over 300K on and the most I had to do to it was replace a bumper and hood from when I nailed a deer and also oil changes.

I do miss my Cherokee though :(
