Except if you actually read the proposed bill it states that Mutual Funds, ETFs and Bonds are exempt, and if you read further it stipulates that there is a 45 day window for disclosure. So they can still do shady trading as if it were business as usual.. This bill would change nothing and is merely theater meant to appease the plebs. They could easily force them to use brokerages that display data in real time and monitor their trading, but they obviously do not want that because most everyone in government from both sides of the aisle don't want to give up their advantage of using insider information. So no, I do not support this specific Bill. 2 Quote
