A bit of old news by now, but Kaiju No.8 being adapted by studios Production I.G + Khara. I've heard good things about the manga.
Production I.G is animating and Khara is handling the monster designs.

Just wish it was closer than 2024 tho.

Nothing special at all about tonight. Man, I really miss the days they put some effort into these holiday marathons to give us more of a reason to watch!!

I read the first like 15 chapters and thought it was pretty good. Pacing is a bit meh but maybe I need to pick it up again haha

Don't get me wrong; I like this show.

And Fang is smarter than anyone would ever believe a T-Rex to be in using herself to make that battering ram stronger.

In fact, I believe her species is actually more of a cross between a T-Rex and a velociraptor!

Cool, yeah read some good things about it, I may look at it briefly too to just to get a feel for it since there's still a year wait to go for the anime.

Nice hype teaser with that music track and those visuals of the wrecked city and teaser at the end.

I definitely was not expecting an anime announcement so soon for it. The teaser does look dope!

But at least the conquest of the boat made for a pretty nice change of pace!

And now some sprightly music!!

And the growth of the big cat shows the passage of time!

Apparently T-Rex eggs take a LOOOOOOOOOONG time to hatch if that leopard could grow up before they hatched.

Yea they have aired Primal a lot and I am not a huge fan of the ending. Love the show. Just rather watch LOTR right now, it has been a while!

Especially since Primal has already been aired so much on adultswim....

oh well I watched some new dubbed episodes released on crunchyroll today so suppose it doesn't matter

Yeah, I'm very mixed on this one. The beginning of it had some good moments, and the daughter reveal was very good at least.

What if in a twist, Spear DID live on after that, just horribly disfigured?

Hopefully we'll get a Season 3 someday, even if it's more of an anthology that only visits the "Spearette and Fang Jr." storyline for an episode or two!

Personally, I like it. Gives me nostalgia for the mid-2010s when I first got my feet wet with the block. And it's at least fitting, since they're traveling through space again. Maybe we could get new bars at some point, but there haven't been any new shows in 4:3 to warrant them, and it's not like the block has enough resources for something like that anyway.
