Well Riku was involved in the episode with the girl that Homura that mountain fire god captured, where all three princesses were involved, and he acted pretty friendly then.  I think he has appeared since then but not sure.  But I think that was the time he was introduced as the guy who hired Jyubei to send the girls to go after bounties.
