SwimModSponges
Pigeons are doves. Rock doves. And we brought them to America specifically to eat.
Real_AirCooledGirl
I had dove once. It tasted very gamey. And there wasn't a lot of meat on it. I'm so used to eating bigger birds such as chickens, ducks, and turkeys.
SwimModSponges
I guess you're supposed to treat them like veal, pump the babies up nice and plump before they start flying.

If they're captive doves, I'm sure you would. But the ones I ate were wild. One of my neighbors at the time was a hunter and he gave me and my family some extra dove meat. Chapinator_X
Watch out, the more doves get cooked, the less can be used in a dramatic John Woo film scene.
